The apartments were recently renovated and feature indoor bike storage. They are directly situated between the VU Amsterdam campus and "Zuidas," Amsterdam's business district. In Zuidas you can access Station Zuid, one of the city's major transportation centres and only a 7 minute train ride from Schiphol Airport. The De Boelelaan apartments are also only two tram stops away from the Uilenstede Campus. At Uilenstede students have full access to Il Café, a fully equiped sports centre, and the Griffioen Cultural Centre.
